The LIZ Smart Water Bottle Has Arrived

NORDEN Introduces the LIZ Self-Cleaning Smart Bottle

Personal water bottles are a must these days, not only to prevent more plastic from entering into the ecosystem, but they keep water cooler and are often easier to carry around. NORDEN upped the game on water bottles by introducing one that features a smart lid that incorporates a UV-C light, that according to the LIZ Red Lidcompany, destroys up to 99.9 percent of harmful viruses and odor-causing bacteria. While that’s a great feature when you’re refilling your water bottle from a public drinking fountain or a natural stream, the LIZ smart bottle goes a step further reminding you to stay hydrated every two hours with a blinking LED light on the lid.

How The Liz Smart Water Bottle Works

Tapping the lid twice to starts the sterilization process, sending the UV-C light through the empty or full bottle, to destroy bacteria and viruses by breaking down their DNA. The touch-responsive smart lid also indicates the temperature range of the beverage inside. By tapping once on the smart lid, the LED will blink in the color corresponding to the beverage’s temperature range: blue for cold, yellow for warm or red for hot.

The LIZ Smart Water bottle by NORDEN is manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel that is vacuum insulated and features a Tritan anti-leak lid that is made from food-grade, BPA-free plastic. It’s available in 12oz and 16oz sizes and comes in a variety of colors. It also features an anti-slip neck grip with a carabiner and includes a rechargeable Lithium battery that the company says will last six months with daily UV sterilization. The LED lid will also indicate a low battery so you can plug in the magnetic USB charging cable for a recharge. For more information, visit https://noerden.eu/
